Client Profile: RB Control Systems

RB Control Systems is a business management and point-of-sale software especially designed for pool and spa businesses and is our featured client in today’s client profile.

The Background

Originally developed in 2003 by Valley Pool & Spa, a multi-location pool and spa dealer located in western Pennsylvania, RB’s software provides managing tools that aim to bring more success to businesses in the pool and spa industry. RB Control Systems offers several different solutions to fit any size business and is currently serving customers in the U.S., Canada, the Virgin Islands, and Australia.

The Strategy

Small Screen Producer actually designed Valley Pool & Spa‘s website back in May 2012, so we were thrilled when the owner approached us with another web redesign project! Although the former RB site offered a lot of information, it was hard to get a grasp of what exactly they offered to pool businesses. The SSP team came up with a plan to create a website that highlighted and organized their POS software packages and features while presenting their strong foothold as being THE software for all pool and spa businesses. We wanted to focus on: A) quick information and credibility to draw in new customers and B) news and resources for current current customers. Here’s what we came up with: 

The Features: 

When prospective customers first visit the site, they can immediately discover:

• “Schedule a Demo” and eBook downloads for lead generation
• Company overview presented in a quick 2-minute video on the homepage
• Stellar client testimonials from current customers
• Categorized buckets for each of software programs with links to more detailed information
• Detailed information on current partners and associations

In addition, under “Programs,” visitors can set their eyes on a clear breakdown and comparison of each customizable software package. 

Current Customers can expect to see a very helpful, accessible client portal that can be found under “Contact”. Customers can access the same URL on the software from their register and access the same portal.

When a customer logs in, they’re presented with helpful resources via video, downloadable PDF documents, and are able to access to company blog and news topics for reference.

We placed additional call-to-actions at the bottom of the homepage for RB to capture and connect with both social media mavens and email newsletter subscribers. 

Small Screen Producer wanted to place RB in the right light as being the right software to use for pool businesses, whether that business is a pool retailer or pool builder, single or multi-location. Prospects and customers from all over the world can now expect to discover helpful, relevant information on all features offered by the notable software company as well as their exceptional customer service on their polished new web presence!
