Facebook’s New Layout for Business Pages: Here’s What to Expect
Facebook is rolling out new changes to Business Pages. Businesses can expect to see a new consistent design with more user-friendly features.
The new layout started rolling out last week and it’s slowly but surely getting to all pages. Facebook Page admins will see a notice at the top of their admin panel asking them to join the waitlist. While we’re all waiting for this new layout to arrive, here’s what to expect:
A Single Column for All Posts
There won’t be any more staggering with Facebook posts. Instead, all posts will show on the right side of your page.
Left Column Business Info
On the left side of your page will be your business info, including a map, contact info, website URL, photos, videos and the number of page likes.
Better Access to Your Admin Tools
You’ll be able to easily see info about any ads running, new likes, and notifications no matter where you are on the page.
No More Visible Thumbnail App Tabs
Tabs will still exist on your page, but they’ll be buried under “More” on the navigation bar of your page and on the left side of the page categorized under “APPS”.
Compare Your Page with Others
“Pages to Watch” is a new feature available to all admins that allows you to create a list of pages similar to yours. You can keep track and compare how you’re doing with other businesses and competitors.
Hopefully these changes will make a big positive impact on Facebook Pages and your digital marketing. What features are you most excited about?
